Welding jobs often do not require prior experience, as employers may provide on-the-job training or entry-level certifications. Basic skills in math, attention to safety, and familiarity with welding tools like MIG or TIG welders can help you start in the field. Certification from a technical school or community college can improve job prospects.

Is 25 too late to become a welder?

Welding is a career accessible at any age, and starting at 25 is common. Many employers value skills, certifications, and experience over age, so with proper training and practice, it is possible to become a successful welder at 25 or older.
