Welding position, starting at $30.04/hr
Responsibilities for this position include:
  • Perform welding in all positions (laying down, kneeling, standing, overhead)
  • Must be comfortable working in confined spaces and at heights over 6 feet
  • Be able to carry/lift and setup welding equipment ranging from 20-66lbs
  • Must be able to work inside/outside

Required/Preferred Education/Training
Required:
Certificate or Associates Degree in Welding Technology
~or
Trade/Vocational School graduate with focus on FCAW or GMAW
~or
1 year FCAW/GMAW welding experience in heavy fabrication industry
Required/Preferred Experience
  • Must be able to demonstrate Welding ability/skill during assessment (interview)
  • Must be able to perform the essential functions of the job
  • FCAW groove welding to U.T Testing standards
  • Perform Fillet weld tests with the following processes FCAW/GMAW-P to Visual Testing standards
  • Knowledge of AWS Welding Symbols
  • Welding equipment setup and operation
  • Must be able to wear a respirator
