Job description

Family-Owned Dealership – 34 Years in Business – Steady Work
Compensation: Hourly based on experience and tools
We are VERY BUSY and looking for a skilled Welder/Fabricator who can handle automotive-related welding and repair work with little to no supervision.
If you can fix, fabricate, and keep vehicles structurally sound and ready for sale, we want to talk.
What You’ll Be Doing:
Exhaust system repair and fabrication
Frame patching and structural reinforcement (non-collision major damage)
Rust repair (floor pans, rocker panels, subframes)
Bracket and mount fabrication (battery trays, supports, etc.)
Trailer hitch installs and reinforcement
Cutting, grinding, and metal prep
Light fabrication for dealership needs
Welding Skills Needed:
MIG welding (primary)
Flux core welding
TIG welding (a plus, not required)
Ability to work with:
Mild steel
Stainless (preferred)
Additional Responsibilities:
Inspect vehicles for structural or rust-related issues
Determine best repair approach (patch vs replace)
Work alongside mechanics for integrated repairs
Ensure clean, safe, and durable welds
