Helper – Fabrication Department
Job Summary
The Helper in the Fabrication Department is an essential support role responsible for assisting with daily operations on the shop floor. This entry-level position requires a willingness to learn, the ability to follow instructions, and a strong commitment to safety and teamwork. The ideal candidate is dependable, takes initiative, and is eager to grow within a fast-paced fabrication environment.
Responsibilities
  • Follow written and verbal instructions to support fabrication tasks.
  • Learn and develop basic knowledge of fabrication shop operations.
  • Clean and maintain organization in the Fabrication Shop.
  • Operate power tools and equipment under supervision.
  • Assist with material handling using forklifts and overhead cranes.
  • Perform tasks that may require working from ladders.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
  • Support team goals by being available for overtime when production demands increase.
  • Work collaboratively with others and independently when needed.
