Job description

Legacy Talent Search is currently seeking candidates for a Welder/Fabricator role in Clackamas, OR. Our client is a well-established industry leader known for innovation and a commitment to delivering the highest quality metal fabrication and custom manufacturing solutions. Key Responsibilities:
· Perform MIG, TIG, and/or Stick welding on steel, stainless steel, and aluminum components according to specifications.
· Read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and work orders to accurately fabricate parts and assemblies.
· Operate fabrication equipment such as press brakes, shears, saws, grinders, and plasma cutters.
· Measure, cut, and assemble metal components to precise tolerances.
· Inspect completed welds and fabricated components to ensure quality and structural integrity.
· Maintain welding equipment and tools to ensure safe and efficient operation.
· Follow all workplace safety protocols, including proper use of PPE and adherence to OSHA standards.
· Collaborate with team members, engineers, and supervisors to meet production deadlines and quality expectations.
· Maintain a clean and organized work area.
· Promptly report any equipment malfunctions, material defects, or safety concerns to supervisors.

Qualifications:
· High school diploma or equivalent; completion of a welding certification program preferred.
· Previous experience in welding and metal fabrication required.
· Ability to read blueprints and use measuring tools such as tape measures, calipers, and squares.
· Strong knowledge of welding techniques, metallurgy, and fabrication processes.
· Ability to lift up to 50+ lbs and stand for extended periods in a physically demanding environment.
