Project Manager – Lead Custom Steel Fabrication Projects from Concept to Completion

Job Overview:

  • Company: Zak Welding & Custom Work, LLC.
  • Salary/Pay Rate: $90,000 - $110,000+ per year (based on experience).
  • Location: Detroit, MI (Onsite).
  • Job/Employment Type: Full Time.
  • Travel: 10% (Local site visits).

The Opportunity: You will take full ownership of diverse commercial and industrial projects, acting as the critical link between our clients and the fabrication shop. This role offers the unique opportunity to manage high-stakes, custom builds where your leadership directly influences the craftsmanship and success of every delivery.

How You Will Make an Impact:

  • Orchestrate the entire project lifecycle from initial kickoff through final delivery and client sign-off.
  • Translate complex blueprints and technical specifications into actionable workflows for the fabrication team.
  • Coordinate with vendors and subcontractors to ensure material deliveries align with aggressive project timelines.
  • Monitor project budgets and labor costs to maintain profitability while identifying efficiency improvements.
