Job description

NOW HIRING: Combo Welder / Pipefitter - Flux-Core

Location: Huntsville, AL

Full-Time | $26-$29 per hour | Benefits Available **NO PER DIEM**

Are you a skilled Combo Welder/Pipefitter looking for your next opportunity? Join our team and work on challenging, high-precision projects where your Flux-Core (FCAW) expertise and pipefitting skills will make an immediate impact!


Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform Flux-Core Arc Welding (FCAW) on carbon steel and stainless steel piping and structural components
  • Fit, cut, and install various types of industrial piping according to isometric drawings and blueprints
  • Prepare joints and welding surfaces, ensuring proper alignment and fit-up
  • Operate cutting torches, grinders, and related fabrication tools
  • Perform quality welds that meet industry codes (ASME, AWS)
  • Inspect completed welds and joints for structural soundness and compliance
  • Work safely in fabrication shops or field/plant environments, following OSHA guidelines
  • Collaborate with other team members to meet project deadlines and specifications

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience in combo welding and industrial pipefitting
  • OSHA10 Required
  • Proficient in Flux-Core (FCAW) welding in all positions
  • Ability to read and interpret isometric drawings, blueprints, and welding symbols
  • Experience with pipe threading, rigging, and layout
  • Strong commitment to safety, quality, and teamwork
  • Able to pass weld tests and drug screening
  • NCCER certification or AWS/ASME certs preferred (not required)
