Job description

Welder

Hours: Monday to Friday, from 6:00am to 2:30pm. Overtime as needed.

About the job:

Need to add a Welder to our team of Welding professionals to work with TIG and MIG welding skillsets.

Responsibilities:

• Weld metal parts according to blueprints specification using TIG/MIG.

• Inspect materials to be welded.

• Set up, operate and maintain equipment.

• Use of hand tools.

• Run repetitive production parts as needed.

• Maintains work area.

• Perform other related duties or work at a different workstation as production needs require.

Required:

• Minimum 3 years of experience in manufacturing.

• Minimum 5 years of experience in TIG and MIG welding.

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.

• Ability to read engineering drawings and weld symbols.

• Ability to read blueprints and measure parts.

• Ability to meet productivity standards, completing work in a timely manner.

• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.

• Ability to thrive in an evolving, fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

• Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 25 lbs., occasionally up to 50 lbs. and more.

• Dependable, detail oriented, energetic and eager to learn.

Bonus skills:

• Experience in metal shop production.

• Experience in welding aluminum/stainless steel.

• Experience with Miller Welding Robot.

• Basic Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook).
