Since 1948, Bob Evans Farms (BEF), Bob Evans Farms (bobevansgrocery.com) has been delivering farm-fresh goodness—delicious, quick-to-table farm fresh foods sold in retail stores throughout the country. The company manufactures and distributes a variety of high-quality, convenience-oriented products under the Bob Evans, Owens, Egg Beaters and Simply Potatoes brand names. Today, the company is the leading seller of refrigerated dinner sides including mashed potatoes and macaroni & cheese, liquid egg products and refrigerated breakfast potatoes. Position Overview: 

This position is responsible for the set-up, operation, and disassembling of equipment used for production by mechanical means to produce both work in process and finished goods products. This job may include the loading, unloading of materials, packaging and finished goods products from racks or pallets. This position is a dual role working production needs then transferring into sanitation as directed by the plant production supervisor. 

Accountabilities:  

1. Safety 1st. Follows all workplace safety rules. 
2. Adhering to GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) during production, sanitation, and handling materials and ingredients. 
3. Maintain and adjust equipment to control designated weights on an individual package or case weight basis. 
4. Meet production performance requirements in a fast-paced work environment. 
5. Transfers finished products and raw materials to identified location in the plant/warehouse or on production line. 
6. Adhere to all safety requirements including the wearing of PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) as prescribed for each work activity or job.   
7. Perform CCP checks as needed depending on location in the plant and during manufacturing. 
8. Follow all SQF principles pertinent to your position as specified by the SQF Practitioner. 
9. All food safety and human safety concerns need to be reported to appropriate personnel such as shift lead, shift supervisor, QA technician, Safety Manager, FSQ Manager, etc.   
10. Work in a fast paced environment on a production line. 
11. All other duties assigned

Education Level:  

• High School diploma or GED  

• Forklift/Pallet Jack Certification a plus 

Experience: 

• 1 to 2 years prior manufacturing/production experience preferred but not required.
