Job Title: ReceiverJob Description

The Receiver is responsible for operating forklifts, unloading flatbed trucks and containers, performing quality inspections of received materials, and verifying test reports. This role requires reading test reports, data entry into the inventory system, working to a production schedule, measuring materials with calibrated calipers and tape measures, filling out first article receipt of materials, managing inventory stock in the warehouse, updating work orders with production codes, and communicating with the Quality and Operations Department regarding any quality issues.

Responsibilities
  • Operate forklifts for the unloading of flatbed trucks and containers.
  • Perform physical and test report verification quality inspections on received materials.
  • Read and interpret test reports.
  • Enter data into the inventory system.
  • Prioritize and schedule workload according to the production schedule.
  • Measure materials using calibrated calipers and tape measures.
  • Fill out first article receipt of materials.
  • Manage inventory stock in the warehouse.
  • Update work orders with production codes.
  • Communicate with the Quality and Operations Department on any quality issues.
