Job description

The City of O'Fallon, MO is looking to hire a knowledgeable and dependable Seasonal Parks Maintenance Worker for weekends only. Are you looking for a position where you'll be working each day in the beautiful city grounds of O'Fallon's parks? Our Seasonal Parks Maintenance Workers earn competitive pay with an expected starting rate of $17.85 hourly and can expect to work March through November. We are flexible and hire seasonal workers who can work May through August to accommodate back to school schedules.
As part of our Parks Department, you will be responsible for assisting in the maintenance of City parks. We are looking for individuals who can work a flexible schedule, with varying hours.
As a Seasonal Parks Maintenance Worker, your duties and responsibilities will include:
  • Maintaining athletic field turf, and string trimming
  • Managing non-turf areas
  • Cleaning pavilions, parking lots, restrooms and playgrounds
  • Assisting with the preparation for festivals and special events
  • Assisting with the weekend park maintenance routines
  • Maintaining park amenities, including painting and repairing tasks
  • Performing related duties
