CENTER SERVICES MANAGER  

Overview of the Position 

A FirstSteps Center Service Manager (CSM) is critical to our FirstSteps mission and purpose. You are truly the heart of our organization, and your passion, expertise, and dedication ensure that FirstSteps is always able to serve our community's children in need. The CSM is a clinician responsible for assisting their local team in implementing successful center-based services via mid-level oversight of group and individual programming.  

Minimum Qualifications 

  • Outstanding performance in administrative and clinical responsibilities within Lead Instructor role 
  • BCaBA or Bachelor's degree and 2 years of experience or Bachelor's degree, 12 units of ABA coursework, and 1 year experience 

Core Responsibilities 

  • Delivery of center- and community-based mid-tier supervision in both 1:1 and group capacity
  • Delivery of caregiver education and generalization instruction to ensure skills will generalize and maintain across people and settings
  • Assistance conducting assessments
  • Implementation 1:1 instructional sessions 
  • Coordination and oversight of effective and engaging 1:1 treatment delivery implemented by Instructors
  • Implementation of center schedule, maximizing 1:1 and group instruction
  • Provision of legally required breaks for Instructors and Lead Instructors as needed 
  • Supervision of Instructors and Lead Instructors
  • Flexible work week to assist in oversight and implementation of community-based service delivery (e.g., weekend programs, evening group sessions)  

How Success is Measured 

  • Provide 115 billable hours per month:
  • Direct session hours to be scheduled by the local Regional Scheduling Coordinator
  • Supervision hours to be scheduled by the CSCM, based on designated case hours determined by Regional Clinic Director 
  • Non-billable appointments to be scheduled by the CSM. CSM is to schedule themselves 40 hours of work per week
  • Implementation of meaningful group learning opportunities
  • Direct intervention with 2 or more clients following protocol modification (e.g., small group instruction while Instructors take breaks)  
  • Implementation of 1:1 sessions as needed
  • Implementation of direct treatment to determine protocol modifications
  • Mid-tier supervision of implementation of 1:1 direct services 
  • Collaborate with Program Director for case to ensure oversight is in line with best practices
  • Supervision and mentorship of Instructors and Lead Instructors
  • Complete PIIEs / competency checklists for Instructors and Leads as they relate to implementation of clients' individual programs (i.e., at least 2 per week)
  • Behavior skills training with Instructor Trainees, Instructors and Lead Instructors implementing treatment protocols
  • Collection of IOA and treatment integrity data
  • Organization and oversight of center-based session model
  • Ensure center and learning materials are regularly cleaned and sanitized
  • Implement center schedule to maximize learning and center capacity
  • Organize treatment rooms to facilitate learning and maximize center capacity
