Opened in 1964 as the only skilled-care facility in Minnesota exclusively for men, Mission Nursing Home provides short-term and long-term care for up to 97 residents who may be experiencing a variety of physical and behavioral health issues. Services include skilled nursing care, physical, occupational and speech therapies, nutrition assistance, and social and recreational activities to help residents attain the optimum quality of life.
Job Description
Mission Nursing Home has an opportunity for a part-time laundry assistant. We are seeking someone who will promote the well being of our residents by interacting with them in a pleasant and positive manner. Also to promote a positive work environment by interacting with co-workers in a positive manner. This position is responsible for providing laundry services for residents clothing and facility linens. Successful candidate will be labeling, washing, drying, sorting, folding, and delivering laundry. Schedule averages 20 hours per week including every third weekend, working 6:00 am - 2:30 pm.

  • Able to perform duties with little or no supervision
  • Have consistent and on time attendance
  • Follow all safety guidelines including infection control and good body mechanics
