Job description

We are a busy construction firm and are always hiring dedicated Construction Laborers to join our team. You will be responsible for operating and maintaining various equipment, loading and unloading frequently heavy materials, and following directions from supervisors and other skilled tradesmen. To do well in this role you should be physically fit, reliable, flexible, and a hard worker.

Construction Laborer Responsibilities:

  • Operate and care for construction tools and equipment.
  • Prep construction sites by cleaning obstacles and hazards.
  • Load or unload tools, construction materials and equipment.
  • Follow project instructions from supervisors.
  • Assist teammates.
  • Follow all health and safety regulations when operating equipment.
  • Ready to learn from on-the-job training when necessary.
  • Perform site clean-up.
  • Ensure equipment and tools are cleaned and stored properly.

Construction Laborer Requirements:

  • Must have valid driver license.
  • Must have own transportation to and from project sites.
  • Be at least 18 years of age.
  • Ability to do physical labor and other strenuous physical tasks.
  • Ability to work in all weather.
  • Must be flexible to work days, nights, and weekends.
  • Workers must be punctual and reliable.
  • Workers must have positive attitude and work ethic.
  • English and Spanish fluency a plus.
  • Experience as a general laborer in the construction industry a plus.

Construction Laborer Payrates and Benefits:

  • Part-time position with chance for advancement to full-time with benefits after 90 days
