Job description

Position Overview
The Emergency Service Technician is responsible for performing mitigation and emergency restoration work in
residential and commercial properties. This role supports the Emergency Water Lead by carrying out approved job
site tasks, maintaining professional job site standards, and ensuring customer comfort during emergency
situations.
Regular Business Hours
• Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
On-Call Responsibilities
• Each technician is expected to complete one (1) on-call week per month.
• Technicians will receive a $100 bonus for covering their scheduled on-call week.
• When contacted after regular business hours, including weekends, technicians will receive a $25 bonus for each
call-back into work.
• If a technician is required to report more than once during a weekend, they will receive an additional $50 bonus
for each additional job beyond the first.
• All after-hours work will be paid as overtime (OT).
Job Site Responsibilities
• Perform all job site work as recommended and approved by the Emergency Water Lead.
• Properly set up and monitor mitigation equipment as directed.
• Take clear photos of all work in progress and again after equipment is set.
• Ensure homes are left neat and professional, including broom-swept and organized work areas.
• Cover furniture and contents in all active work areas.
• Box contents neatly when required.
Work Hours & Accountability
• Technicians may be expected to work later than scheduled if additional work is required on an active job site.
• Management must be contacted to request permission prior to leaving a job site where work remains incomplete.
Customer Service Expectations
• Make every effort to ensure the customer is comfortable throughout the service process.
• Answer customer questions professionally and escalate concerns to the Emergency Water Lead or management
as needed.
