Included in the S&P 500 Index, CoStar Group is on a mission to digitize the world’s real estate, empowering all people to discover properties, insights and connections that improve their businesses and lives. We have been living and breathing the world of real estate information and online marketplaces for over 35 years, giving us the perspective to create truly unique and valuable offerings to our customers. We’ve continually refined, transformed and perfected our approach to our business, creating a language that has become standard in our industry, for our customers, and even our competitors. We continue that effort today and are always working to improve and drive innovation. This is how we deliver for our customers, our employees, and investors. By equipping the brightest minds with the best resources available, we provide an invaluable edge in real estate. CoStar Group is seeking an experienced and motivated AV Support Engineer to join our Global IT team in our Arlington, VA office. In this role, you will provide hands‑on support for Microsoft Teams Rooms, corporate telephony systems, and audiovisual infrastructure across our office environments. You will play a key part in delivering exceptional user experiences, supporting live and hybrid events, and maintaining the reliability of our global collaboration systems. This requires strong technical skills, problem‑solving ability, and a passion for enabling seamless communication and collaboration across CoStar Group.

Responsibilities
  • Provide day‑to‑day support for Microsoft Teams Rooms (MTR) systems, ensuring consistent performance and reliability.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve AV, conferencing, and telephony issues through CoStar’s IT support ticketing system.
  • Manage, configure, and maintain corporate telephony solutions including Microsoft Teams Phone and SIP‑based VoIP infrastructure.
  • Support live and hybrid corporate events, such as town halls and executive meetings, including setup, operation, and post‑event wrap‑up.
  • Install, test, and maintain AV systems — displays, microphones, DSPs, control systems, and networked AV components.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors on AV installations, upgrades, and technology rollouts.
  • Monitor system health using platforms such as Teams Admin Center, Logitech Sync, or Extron GVE and LogicMonitor.
  • Maintain accurate documentation, room schematics, and equipment inventories.
Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited, not‑for‑profit, in‑person university or college.
  • A track record of commitment to prior employers.
  • 3+ years of experience in AV, unified communications, and IT support roles in a corporate environment.
  • Proven experience supporting Microsoft Teams Rooms and Teams Phone systems.
  • Strong understanding of AV technologies, including video conferencing, audio DSPs, control systems, and networked AV solutions.
  • Working knowledge of telephony systems, SIP, VoIP, and call routing fundamentals.
  • Familiarity with networking concepts (VLANs, QoS, IP configuration) and troubleshooting AV‑over‑IP systems.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills with a proactive and detail‑oriented mindset.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Certifications such as CTS, Microsoft Teams Rooms Pro Specialist, Microsoft 365 Teams Administrator Associate, or Crestron/Extron certifications.
  • Experience supporting executive events, live streaming, or broadcast AV systems.
  • Knowledge of monitoring tools such as Extron GVE, Logitech Sync, Vyopta, LogicMonitor or similar.
Benefits
  • Comprehensive healthcare coverage: Medical / Vision / Dental / Prescription Drug
  • Life, legal, and supplementary insurance
  • Virtual and in‑person mental health counseling services for individuals and family
  • Commuter and parking benefits
  • 401(K) retirement plan with matching contributions
  • Employee stock purchase plan
  • Paid time off
  • Tuition reimbursement
  • On‑site fitness center and/or reimbursed fitness center membership costs (location dependent)
  • Access to CoStar Group’s Employee Resource Groups
  • Complimentary gourmet coffee, tea, hot chocolate, fresh fruit, and other healthy snacks

This position is located in Arlington, VA, and requires in‑office presence Monday through Friday. Occasional travel (30%) to other CoStar offices or event venues may be required, and availability for occasional after‑hours or weekend work to support events, build‑out, and maintenance windows is expected.

Salary Range: $73,000 – $107,000, determined by relevant skills and experience, plus a generous benefits plan.
