Job description

Primary Purpose Assist the Site Manager and teaching team with administrative duties that support Tūtū and Me Traveling Preschool.

Essential Duties

● Help coordinate and record notes for team meetings;

● Prepare expenditure vouchers;

● Maintain enrollment and waitlist, keep accurate records of all participants;

● Assist team(s) at site if needed which entails traveling in program vehicle to and from sites, setting up and breaking down learning centers, and engaging in activities with families;

● Assist with ordering, shopping, receiving, and marking program supplies and consumables;

● Monitor office supplies and inventory;

● Drive assigned company vehicles in a safe and legal manner.

Other Duties Other duties as assigned include, but not limited to, completing all forms and documentation such as reports related to grant objectives, professional development evaluations, and daily logs.

Work Hours

● Monday through Friday, hours of operation vary from and determined by the Site Manager;

● Consistent and reliable attendance;

● Some events on evenings or weekends at various times.

Working Conditions

● Office setting and program sites;

● Traveling in program vehicle to and from program sites, events, meetings, retail stores;

● Travel to the neighbor islands may be required.

Equipment Use Program vehicle, office equipment (computer, video and camera, printer, copier, scanner, cell phone, laminator, shredder), site and facility equipment.

Physical:

● Capable of strenuous activities, which include loading/unloading of program materials and equipment from the van, setup and breakdown of program activity centers;

● Able to lift and carry up to 40 pounds on a regular basis;

● Able to sit at a desk for extended periods of time.

Communication:

● Exhibit courteous and professional demeanor towards program participants, staff, and administration via verbal, written, physical, and electronic correspondence;

● Requires good oral and written communication skills;

● Properly handle and maintain highly confidential information.

Minimum Qualification Requirements

Required:

● High School diploma;

● Six (6) months of experience working in an office setting;

● Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Google Drive, Canva publishing and virtual meeting platforms;

● Must have a valid driver's license, a safe and responsible driving record.

Preferred:

● Strong understanding of Tῡtῡ and Me Traveling Preschool or similar FCIL programs;

● Familiarity with using databases such as QuickBase;

● Knowledge and understanding of Hawaiian culture and values.
