Job description

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Set priorities for shipping by creating shipping schedule and updating logistics deliveries/time/route.
  • Package parts
  • Ship in Erp SYSTEM
  • Create Shipping Documents
  • Gather and file with shipment appropriate documentation including bill of laden, material test reports, certificate of conformance, and all other pertinent documentation
  • Kitting subcontract purchase orders as necessary
  • Generate appropriate shipping notice to customers (Ex. ASN for Halliburton)

       QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • 1-2 years of warehouse or shipping/ receiving experience preferred
  • Familiarity with shipping software and labeling systems (e.g., UPS, FedEx, USPS platforms).
  • Ability to read and interpret packing slips, invoices, and shipping documents accurately.
  • Experience using warehouse equipment, such as pallet jacks, hand trucks, or forklifts (Forklift certification is a plus).
  • Basic computer skills and ability to use inventory systems or handheld scanners
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
  • Ability to lift up to 50lbs and stand, bend, or move for extended periods.
  • Team-Oriented with good communication and time management skills.
  • Knowledge of warehouse safety procedures and commitment to maintaining a clean and organized work area.

       PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS & WORK ENVIRONMENT:

  • Ability to stand, walk, bend stoop, and reach for extended periods during the shift.
  • Frequently required to lift, carry, and move packages and materials weighing up to 50 pounds occasional lifting of heavier items with assistance.
  • Manuel dexterity required for handling tools, scanning devices, and packaging materials.
  • Capable of operating warehouse equipment (e.g., pallet jack, hand truck.
  • Ability to perform repetitive tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Must be to visually inspect items and labels for accuracy.
  • Work is performed primarily in a warehouse setting, which may be subject to varying temperatures, including hot or cold conditions depending on the season.
  • The environment maybe noisy, with exposure to machinery, equipment, and moving vehicles such as forklifts.
  • Must be able to work in an environment with frequent interruptions and changing priorities.
  • Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) may be required, including gloves, safety vests, and steel toed footwear.
  • Schedule may include early mornings, evenings, weekends, or overtime depending on operational needs.

Educational Requirements:

  • High School diploma or GED required
  • Basic proficiency in reading, writing, and arithmetic necessary for interpreting shipping documents and completing inventory records.
