Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced Senior QA Analyst to lead User Acceptance Testing (UAT), business analysis, test strategy development, and quality assurance activities across enterprise applications and systems.

This role serves as a senior-level quality and business analysis resource responsible for ensuring systems, integrations, data, reporting solutions, and business processes meet business requirements, regulatory standards, and operational objectives. The position acts as a liaison between business stakeholders, subject matter experts, technical teams, vendors, and project teams to ensure successful solution delivery and release readiness.

The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in manual and automated testing, business process analysis, requirements management, defect management, and test automation. This role requires the ability to function strategically while remaining hands-on with both UAT and Business Analysis responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Participate in requirements gathering and solution design sessions to support change requests and operational initiatives.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders, SMEs, system owners, vendors, technical teams, and project managers to analyze, document, refine, and validate business and functional requirements.
  • Serve in a dual role, supporting both Business Analysis and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) activities based on project and organizational needs.
  • Facilitate requirements workshops, walkthroughs, knowledge-sharing sessions, and solution reviews to ensure alignment between business expectations and system functionality.
  • Review business requirements, functional specifications, system designs, interface documentation, and process workflows to ensure complete and risk-based test coverage.

User Acceptance Testing (UAT) & Quality Assurance

  • Develop and maintain comprehensive UAT strategies, test plans, test scenarios, and testing approaches aligned with business objectives, compliance requirements, and project timelines.
  • Design, execute, and maintain manual and automated test scripts for functional, integration, regression, end-to-end, data validation, and user acceptance testing.
  • Lead and coordinate UAT activities, including test execution, issue tracking, evidence documentation, business validation, and release readiness assessments.
  • Partner with development and testing teams to improve testing alignment, strengthen quality coverage, and eliminate redundant testing efforts.
  • Collaborate with project teams and stakeholders to manage testing schedules, dependencies, risks, deliverables, and implementation readiness activities.

Defect & Quality Management

  • Manage the full defect lifecycle, including identification, logging, triage, prioritization, escalation, retesting, validation, and closure.
  • Utilize enterprise testing and defect management tools to track and report defects and testing outcomes.
  • Monitor, analyze, and communicate testing metrics, execution progress, defect trends, quality risks, test coverage, and overall UAT results to stakeholders and leadership.

Test Automation & Continuous Improvement

  • Evaluate, refine, and optimize existing regression test suites to improve testing efficiency, coverage, and business process validation.
  • Lead test automation initiatives by developing automation strategies, identifying automation opportunities, recommending tools and frameworks, and implementing automated testing solutions.
  • Drive improvements that reduce manual testing efforts while enhancing overall quality and release confidence.
  • Support post-production validation, production issue analysis, continuous process improvement initiatives, and QA/UAT best practices.
  • Contribute to additional operational and program support activities as needed.

Qualifications - Required

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field; equivalent education and experience will also be considered.

5+ years of experience in Quality Assurance (QA), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and/or Business Analysis roles supporting enterprise-level applications and systems.

3+ years of hands-on experience in test automation, including automation strategy development and the transformation of manual testing processes into automated solutions.

Proven experience developing and executing test strategies, test plans, test cases, and test scripts for functional, regression, integration, end-to-end, and UAT testing.

Strong ability to analyze business and functional requirements, develop use cases, and translate business needs into comprehensive test scenarios.

Experience with data quality validation, data reconciliation, and testing across enterprise applications, system integrations, and reporting solutions.

Hands-on experience with test management and defect tracking tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, Smartsheet, or equivalent platforms.

Proficiency with automated testing tools and frameworks, including Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, TestComplete, Power Automate, UFT, or similar technologies.

Experience working with Microsoft reporting and analytics platforms, including Power BI and/or Microsoft Fabric.
