We have a contract Onsite opportunity Linux (Cloud) Systems Administrator @ Santa Clara, CA (Onsite), Please find the JD below
Role : Linux (Cloud) Systems Administrator
Location: Santa Clara, CA (Onsite)
Term: Long Term

Eligibility:
  • Open to US Citizens and Green Card holders only, due to nature of Job

Additional Requirement:
  • Candidates must be willing to provide valid government-issued ID (Driver's License) for identity verification during process.

Responsibilities:
  • Linux Administration:
    • Demonstrated experience in installing, configuring, and upgrading Linux systems and servers.
    • Expertise in Linux OS administration across Ubuntu, CentOS, and RedHat.
    • Strong knowledge in Linux server support, troubleshooting, and storage implementation.
    • Proven experience in risk-based systems running on UNIX/Linux platforms, including OS clustering, partitioning, and virtualization.
    • Hands-on experience with day-to-day UNIX/Linux OS installation, migration, and break-fix support.
  • Cloud & Virtualization:
    • Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
    • Ability to deploy, configure, and maintain cloud-based Linux environments.
    • Strong knowledge of containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and cloud automation tools (Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation).
    • Support and manage VMware 6.5/6.7 cluster environments.
  • Data center maintenance and support activities.
    • This includes participating in weekend and after-hours maintenance as needed.

Soft skills:
  • Critical thinker/problem solver - should come up with solutions, not just problems.
  • Self-motivated and responsible, works independently and part of the remote team well.
  • Good communication skills.
