Job Summary:
Info Way Solutions is seeking an Informatica Admin/Developer with Oracle expertise. The role involves managing Informatica Administration activities, including installation, configuration, and performance tuning, while collaborating with development teams and supporting ETL processes.
Responsibilities:
• Installation and configuration and patching of Informatica Power Center, Power Exchange and other related products.
• Managing the non-prod and prod environments with High Availability and GRID setup.
• Perform Informatica Power Center 10.x System Administration and Power Exchange 10.x System Administration.
• Experience with setting up access roles and privileges, code page setups, appropriate ETL migration activities, and scheduling jobs.
• Work with Systems Administrators, UNIX, Network and DBAs, scheduling and implementing software patches and upgrades.
• Experience in automation of monitoring Informatica environments using UNIX, pmrep, pmcmd and other Informatica command-line language.
• Support development teams with performance tuning, troubleshooting issues, and identify the root cause analysis for ETL job failures/Data issues raised by the business.
• Experience in handling Informatica deployment activities in various forms/methods
• Scheduling and Monitoring Informatica repository backups.
• Review of Informatica ETL design documents and working closely with development to ensure standards are followed.
• Knowledge of handling OLTP, real-time data synchronization activities, troubleshooting methods.
• On-Call Support as required during the weekends and off-hours.
• Scheduling real-time system jobs.
• End of Life system verification and upgrades. Perform regression testing and approve the overall upgrade or setup. In addition to Informatica experience candidates are required to have skills and experience in the following areas:
• Experience in working with Oracle databases
• Experience working in UNIX operating system with shell scripting
• Ability to work independently and to resolve complex issues
• Ability to effectively diagnose, isolate, and resolve complex problems pertaining to data infrastructure
• Ability to write SQL, PL/SQL, Oracle Stored Procedures, Functions, Packages and Database Triggers
• Ability to Tune Oracle SQL and PL/SQL performance
• Experience in logical database design and data models
• Advanced experience with ETL and data transformation Solutions
• Experience working with Batch Processing
Qualifications:
Required:
• At least 6 to 8 years of advanced experience as an Informatica administrator with Informatica developer skills with Oracle skills.
