Job description

We are hiring for an Underwriter in Fond du Lac, WI. This role is open due to a future retirement at a successful financial services firm. You will be responsible for retail and mortgage underwriting. If you have at least three years experience, this could be a good fit for you.
Underwriter Responsibilities:
  • Follow investor and internal underwriting guidelines
  • Coordinate with the lender and processor to obtain necessary documentation
  • Analyze retail loan products and assess credit worthiness of the customer
  • Utilize underwriting systems to make informed decisions
Requirements:
  • Three or more years of underwriting experience
  • Higher education desired (Associate's or Bachelor's), but not required
  • Professional communication skills both verbal and written
  • Comfortable working in multiple softwares
