Spectrum Healthcare Resources has a potential opportunity for a civilian Out-Patient Pharmacist supporting the Department of Veteran Affairs at the Phoenix VA Healthsystem in Phoenix, Arizona.

 

 This contract position offers:

  • Full time opportunity
  • Monday-Friday 9:30am - 6:00pm 
  • Full benefits to include medical, dental, and 401(k)
  • 11 Paid Federal holidays plus paid time off
  • No nights, weekends or Holidays but weekend/holiday overtime available on a voluntary basis 
  • Malpractice Insurance is provided 

The position will have the following requirements:

  • Graduate of an Accreditation Council on Pharmaceutical Education (ACPE) accredited school or university
  • A current, valid, unrestricted license to practice Pharmacy in any one of the fifty states, the District of Columbia, the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, Guam or the U.S Virgin Islands.
  • Proven knowledge, skills, and abilities associated with professional pharmacy practice
  • Basic typing, PC computer skills, and working knowledge of MS Office
  • Ability to sit/stand for long periods of time (8-10 hours) and lift up to 30 pounds
  • Nature of services include operation and support of automated and manual filling equipment and preparation of prescription orders for mail-out dispensing
