POSITION OVERVIEW 

We are currently seeking a reliable and experienced Transport Fuels Truck Driver to join our team. As a Transport Fuels Truck Driver, your primary responsibility will be to safely transport various types of fuels, such as gasoline, diesel, and aviation fuel, to designated locations. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the timely delivery of fuel products while adhering to all safety and regulatory guidelines. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS 

  • Safely operate a tanker truck to transport fuels to assigned destinations. 

  • Follow designated routes and schedules to ensure on-time delivery of fuel products. 

  • Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure its safety and functionality. 

  • Load and unload fuel products using appropriate equipment and following proper safety procedures. 

  • Monitor and maintain accurate records of fuel deliveries, including quantity, quality, and delivery times. 

  • Follow all applicable safety regulations and company policies to prevent accidents, spills, and other hazardous situations. 

  • Adhere to transportation regulations and maintain all required licenses, permits, and certifications. 

  • Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and other team members to coordinate delivery schedules and address any concerns or issues. 

  • Conduct routine maintenance and minor repairs on the truck, such as checking fluid levels and tire pressure. 

  • Report any vehicle malfunctions, accidents, or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel promptly. 

  • Adhere to environmental regulations and practices for the safe handling and disposal of fuel products and related materials. 


 

EDUCATION & QUALIFICATIONS: 

  • Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with appropriate endorsements for transporting fuels (e.g., hazardous materials endorsement). 

  • Proven experience as a truck driver, preferably with experience in transporting fuels or hazardous materials. 

  • Clean driving record with no major violations or accidents. 

  • Strong understanding of transportation regulations and safety protocols related to fuel transportation. 

  • Ability to operate a tanker truck and handle fuel loading and unloading equipment safely. 

  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with customers and team members. 

  • Physical stamina and strength to perform loading and unloading activities, often in various weather conditions. 

  • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills to maintain accurate records and complete necessary paperwork. 

  • Flexibility in working hours, as this role may require occasional night shifts, weekends, or overtime. 

  • Strong commitment to safety and adherence to all applicable rules, regulations, and protocols.
