Job description

The Project Manager is responsible for overseeing all phases of reconstruction projects from initial customer contact through project completion. This role manages reconstruction, scheduling, budgeting, subcontractors, customer communication, and quality control to ensure projects are completed safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest standards. The Project Manager serves as the primary point of contact for customers, insurance adjusters, and internal teams while delivering exceptional customer service during stressful situations.


This is 100% commission-based position, offering unlimited earning potential for highly motivated professionals with strong sales, project management, and customer relationship skills.


Key Responsibilities


Project Management

  • Manage residential and commercial reconstruction projects.
  • Develop project scopes, schedules, budgets, and timelines.
  • Monitor project progress and adjust schedules as needed to meet deadlines.
  • Ensure projects meet company quality standards and client expectations.

Customer Service

  • Serve as the primary contact for homeowners, business owners, insurance adjusters, property managers, and vendors.
  • Provide regular updates on project status, timelines, and expectations.
  • Resolve customer concerns professionally and promptly.
  • Maintain high customer satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.

Financial Management

  • Prepare estimates and change orders using industry estimating software (such as Xactimate).
  • Monitor project costs, budgets, and profitability.
  • Review invoices, purchase orders, and subcontractor billing.
  • Ensure accurate project documentation for insurance claims and customer billing.

Team Leadership

  • Coordinate field technicians, carpenters, subcontractors, and vendors.
  • Schedule labor and materials to maximize productivity.
  • Conduct job site meetings and communicate project expectations.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, safety, and teamwork.

Documentation

  • Maintain accurate project files including photos, daily logs, contracts, permits, and change orders.
  • Document project progress using project management software.
  • Submit reports and updates to management as required.


Required Qualifications

  • Requires a minimum of 3 years of experience in residential project management.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Experience with Xcelerate and restoration management software.
  • Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Average annual earnings of $90,000, with experienced Project Managers earning $120,000+ per year.
  • 100% commission-based compensation (no base salary or hourly wage).
  • Commissions are paid based on the gross profit of completed projects. A detailed commission structure will be provided during the interview process.
