Job description

The Tissue RecoveryCoordinator (TRC) is responsible for coordinating the tissue donation process,including referral, scheduling, recovery and shipment of recoveredtissues. Assists with hospital development (as needed), professional andpublic education programming (as needed) and maintains a positive, professionalliaison between MORA Tissue Services and the medical/civic community. On-call and weekend responsibilities are required.
Education and WorkExperience Qualifications:
  1. Bachelor's degree in life sciences or Business or Associate degree and completion of a Licensed Practical Nurse, Operating Room Technician, Mortician, or other life sciences program, plus two (2) years experience within the discipline.

  1. At least one (1) year experience as a Recovery Team Leader or equivalent and two (2) years total tissue-banking experience.

  1. Current AATB Certified Tissue Banking Specialist (CTBS) or able to sit for the exam at the earliest available testing time.
