Through a unique collaboration between Universal Health Services and Providence Health Services, Inland Northwest Behavioral Health Hospital became the first free-standing mental health hospital in the city of Spokane, Washington.
Position Summary:
We're looking for a skilled, mission‑driven Cook to help elevate the quality of meals served in our Behavioral Health hospital. This role prepares fresh, appealing meals that support patient healing, meet therapeutic diet requirements, and follow all BH safety standards. The individual works closely with dietitian and to deliver consistent, patient‑centered food service.
Position details:

Minimum Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
  • Culinary training, certificate, or equivalent hands‑on experience
  • Food Handler's Permit or ServSafe Food Protection Manager certification (or ability to obtain within 30 days)
  • 3 or more years of professional cooking experience in Healthcare, School/Institution food service or commercial dining
