CNC Machine Operator

St. Joseph, MO
$Competitive Pay | Full-Time | 2nd & 3rd Shift

Join a Growing Manufacturing Team

We are looking for a dependable CNC Machine Operator to join our Machine Shop in St. Joseph, Missouri. If you have machining experience, enjoy working with precision equipment, and take pride in producing high-quality parts, we'd like to hear from you.

This position is available on 2nd Shift (2:30 PM to 10:30 PM) or 3rd Shift (10:30 PM to 6:30 AM), Monday through Friday. Overtime and weekend work are available based on production needs.

What You'll Do

• Set up and operate CNC machines according to production specifications

• Load materials, install tooling, and enter machining programs

• Read blueprints, work instructions, and machining specifications

• Produce precision parts while maintaining quality standards

• Measure and inspect finished parts using precision measuring tools

• Make machine adjustments to maintain quality and efficiency

• Troubleshoot machine, tooling, and program issues

• Monitor tooling condition and perform basic tool changes

• Complete production and quality documentation

• Operate overhead cranes safely when required

• Work independently and as part of a team

• Follow all company safety procedures and quality standards

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required

• 1 to 2 years of CNC machining experience preferred

• Experience reading blueprints and technical drawings preferred

• Experience using micrometers, calipers, and precision measuring equipment preferred

• Experience using hand and power tools

• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills

• Basic math skills

• PLC experience is a plus

• Ability to wear required PPE, including a respirator when necessary
