In this client-facing role, you will drive revenue growth by converting inquiries into closed contracts and maximizing order values for luxury weddings, corporate events, and social celebrations.

As a trusted advisor and primary point of contact, you will manage the rental sales process from initial consultation through final contract execution while ensuring exceptional customer service and operational accuracy.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maximize Order Value: Proactively upsell and cross-sell luxury collections, linens, and specialty items to increase average deal size.
  • Consultative Selling: Guide clients, planners, and corporate decision-makers through inventory options to match their budget and scale.
Sales & Order Management:
  • Prepare and manage quotes, contracts, proposals, and rental orders with accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Maintain client records and event information within the company’s reservation systems.
  • Track order updates, revisions, and inventory availability throughout the planning process.
  • Ensure all event details are documented and communicated effectively.
Client Consultation & Event Design:
  • Conduct personalized showroom appointments with clients, event planners, and designers.
  • Curate rental selections that align with event themes, aesthetics, budgets, and logistical requirements.
  • Provide expert recommendations on tabletop décor, linens and specialty rental items.
  • Create inspiring design concepts and rental solutions that elevate the client experience.
Team Collaboration & Event Execution:
  • Partner closely with warehouse, delivery, and event operations teams to coordinate successful event installations and breakdowns.
  • Confirm inventory availability and address logistical considerations before event dates.
  • Support smooth execution by proactively identifying and resolving potential challenges.
Client Relationship Management:
  • Serve as the primary contact for clients throughout the planning process.
  • Respond promptly to inquiries, order modifications, and event-related requests.
  • Deliver exceptional service while maintaining strong relationships with event planners, venues, and repeat clients.
  • Handle last-minute adjustments with professionalism and composure.
Showroom Presentation:
  • Maintain a polished, organized, and welcoming showroom environment.
  • Ensure displays are updated to showcase new collections, seasonal offerings, and current design trends.
  • Assist with merchandising and visual presentation to inspire clients during consultations.

Skills & Competencies:
  • Strong knowledge of event design, tablescapes, décor styling, and full-service event rentals.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a polished and professional presence.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to client service.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Google Workspace applications.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience working directly with clients in a consultative sales environment.

Working Conditions:
  • Primarily based in a showroom office environment, with occasional travel to event venues and client sites.
  • Ability to lift and move sample products or décor items as needed.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and peak-season hours based on event schedules and client needs.

Compensation & Benefits:
  • Base Salary: $50,000 – $60,000 base (depending on experience).
  • Benefits: Health, Dental, Vision, and 401(k) matching.
