Job description

RDTS is seeking a cleared, mid-level Full Stack Engineer to support the U.S. Dept of Treasury in Washington, D.C. The Full Stack Engineer shall provide services to support and ensure full optimization of TFIN's SharePoint system and fulfill all SharePoint requirements. May Include after-hours or weekend support for maintenance, outage resolution, or other service support requested by the Government. This position is full-time and fully onsite, and available upon a favorable federal background check.
  • Installing, configuring, and upgrading SharePoint systems.
  • Understanding best practices for Always-On Availability to include disaster recovery and multiple environment imaging.
  • Backing up SharePoint data and overseeing the SQL Server database.
  • Clear and frequent communication to technical and non-technical team members and clients.
  • Managing multiple SharePoint environments.
  • Identifying and remedying security issues.
  • Providing Tier II and III support for incidents and problems and documenting the solutions.
  • Implementing OS Patching for SharePoint and SQL servers' versions 2012R, 2019, and SharePoint online.
  • Reviewing alert logs and managing storage requirements.
  • Ensuring database health and performing backup processes.
  • Utilizing Central Admin, sysadmin, and PowerShell for configuration changes.
  • Utilizing third-party applications and native SQL Server management tools.

  • SharePoint 2013, 2016, and O365 installation and configuration experience
  • Active Directory engineering experience
  • Group Policy configuration experience
  • STIG implementation experience
  • PowerShell version 4.0 and 5.1 command scripting experience
  • SQL Database installation experience
  • Server certificate request and implementation experience
  • Windows, SQL, and SharePoint error log correction experience
  • Microsoft design and install best practices
  • Documentation/SOP writing experience
  • Visio use experience (diagramming)
