Housekeeping Supervisor - Senior Living Community in Holmen, WI 

Company Overview:

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and organized Housekeeping Supervisor to join our team. This role will oversee and coordinate the daily operations of our housekeeping staff. The successful candidate will ensure that our facility is clean and well maintained, and that all guests receive the highest quality of service.

Responsibilities: 

  • Staff Management: Hire, train, schedule, and supervise housekeeping and laundry personnel. Assign daily cleaning routines for resident apartments and common areas.
  • Quality Control: Inspect resident rooms, hallways, dining spaces, and offices regularly to maintain high health, safety, and sanitation standards. Ensure rooms are ready for new resident admissions. 
  • Inventory Control: Monitor and order cleaning supplies, equipment, and linens while tracking usage and maintaining cost controls. 
  • Compliance & Safety: Enforce infection control protocols, proper chemical handling, and local, state, or federal sanitation regulations. 
  • Resident Relations: Address resident and family concerns with empathy, tact, and professionalism

Qualifications:

  • Experience: 2-3 years housekeeping experience in a healthcare or senior living environment; previous supervisory experience is strongly preferred.
  • Knowledge: Understanding of medical grade cleaning techniques, safety rules, and infection control standards.
  • Soft Skills: Strong leadership, organization, and communication skills to work well with staff, residents, and facility leadership.
  • Physical Requirements: Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift or move up to 30 pounds
