We are currently seeking a highly-skilled Carpenter to join our highly organized team team. You will collaborate with our project manager and dream team to work on residential kitchens, bathrooms, basements and other interior spaces of the home. Projects include demo, framing, cabinetry install, door/window install, stair systems and trims install. Having an understanding of how to read high quality construction documentation, work with raw and finish materials, and have a good working knowledge of standard industry tools and equipment. Enjoy working a 4 day work week with a 3 day weekend every week. We also pride ourselves on being organized and have a full distribution team that delivers materials to site so you can focus on what you do best on site, leave the organizing to the rest of the team.

Carpenter Duties and Responsibilities

  • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and sketches and to understand project specifications
  • Take measurements and calculate the sizes and amounts of materials needed for the project
  • Cut, shape, and smooth lumber and other material according to measurements
  • Build window frames, doors, staircases, frame buildings, and other structures by using raw materials or pre-constructed items
  • Install cabinetry, doors, windows, stair systems and trims
  • Maintain a clean working space for yourself and homeowners
  • Comply with all company and governmental safety guidelines
  • Work alone or as part of a team on site

Carpenter Requirements and Qualifications

  • Ability to run a remodel project and team from start to finish
  • Coordinate dream and outside vendors for duration of project
  • Help grow carpenters and general labor on site with experience
  • Completion of a carpentry program at a vocational school or carpentry apprenticeship preferred
  • 5+ years of professional carpentry experience a plus
  • Strong working knowledge of carpentry techniques and methods, including installation and construction
  • Able to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
  • Good physical condition, stamina, and dexterity
