Job description

JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS

Scheduled Weekly Hours: TBD

Work Shift: PRN (as needed) Monday - Friday: 7am-6p / Saturday-Sunday: 8am-4:30pm

Job Summary:
Performs all functions relating to the dispensing of medications, including the provision of information about dosing, side effects, and compatibilities for all patients. This role requires strong patient service skills, excellent knowledge of chemistry and specific drug interactions, excellent attention to detail and ability to balance competing priorities.
Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or Pharm. D degree. Must be licensed as a Pharmacist in the State of Louisiana. Experience working in a Retail or Community Pharmacy preferred.
Physical Demands:
Must possess good physical health. Some requirements include but are not limited to standing, sitting or walking for long periods of time. Lifting at least 50 pounds is required. Must be able to work with a moderate level of noise.
Physical Effort required:
Constant (67%-100%) - hearing, seeing
Frequently (34%-66%)- reaching, handling/feeling, talking
Occasionally (1%-33%)- lifting, carrying, pushing/pulling, stooping
