Job description

  • Coverage starts as soon as credentialed due to inadequate staffing.
  • Practice setting is a surgical center.
  • Schedule is Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM.
  • 3 month contract with option to extend
  • Documentation system used is Cerner.
  • CRNA will work under a supervision model.
  • Surgical cases per day range from 7 to 20, depending on case types.
  • Pain management cases range from 0 to 10 per day.
  • OR staff typically includes a surgeon, CRNA, supervising MDA, RN, scrub tech, and sometimes a first assist or resident.
  • The facility has 3 operating rooms at one site and 5 at another.
  • Patient demographics include pediatric to geriatric patients, excluding neonates.
  • Required procedures include general surgical cases for adult and pediatric patients.
  • With experience is preferred

Locations:

  • St John Surgery Center21000 E. 12 Mile St. Clair Shores
  • North Macomb Surgery Center Mile Rd Macomb

One provider to cover both centers, although the majority of the days would be assigned to the 12 Mile location. We do specify that the individual may be needed at the other location some days. We would not expect the individual to travel between locations on a single day. This need is primarily for our surgery centers but would be willing to float to the main if staffing required.
