Job description


St. Peter's Health Medical Group is seeking a skilled and compassionate Ambulatory Registered Nurse (RN) in Triage to provide high-quality, timely patient care. This role is responsible for assessing patient symptoms and concerns, providing clinical guidance within established protocols, coordinating referrals and appointments, and determining appropriate levels of care.
The RN will collaborate with providers and interdisciplinary teams, educate and advocate for patients, maintain accurate clinical documentation, and support efficient clinic operations. The ideal candidate demonstrates strong clinical judgment, communication, critical-thinking, and organizational skills, with a commitment to patient-centered care and teamwork.
KNOWLEDGE/EXPERIENCE: Clinical medical, surgical, pediatric, or OB experience of 5+ years preferred. Triage experience preferred (walk-in or telephone). Proven ability to work independently in a remote environment, demonstrating strong time management, communication, and accountability to complete tasks and meet deadlines with minimal supervision preferred.
EDUCATION: Graduate of accredited professional school of nursing.
LICENSE/CERTIFICATION/REGISTRY: Current Montana License as a Registered Nurse required. Current Basic Life Support (BLS) required.
