Location: Tampa, Florida (Onsite)
Clearance: Top Secret / SCI Clearance Role Overview
We are seeking experienced Cybersecurity Analysts for an on-site role in Tampa, FL. This position involves working on revolutionary systems that impact people's lives globally. The role follows a Panama schedule, which includes 12-hour shifts rotating between days and nights, providing a three-day weekend every other week. Key Responsibilities
Utilize Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) tools, with a preference for Splunk, to analyze security data.
Develop and implement complex Splunk queries using SPL for proactive threat detection.
Design and maintain Splunk dashboards and reports for various stakeholders.
Configure and maintain Splunk infrastructure, including data inputs, parsing, and forwarders.
Leverage Splunk Enterprise Security for developing use cases and correlation searches.
Use Trellix/Endpoint Security Solutions (ESS) to detect and counter known threats.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate Splunk and advise on security best practices.
Conduct in-depth investigations of security incidents, including root cause analysis and triage.
Document Splunk configurations, operational procedures, and security findings.
Stay current with the latest cybersecurity threats, vulnerabilities, and industry trends. Qualifications
Experience: A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience is required. Candidates with an Active TS/SCI clearance are highly preferred for this position, must be able to obtain a Top Secret /SCI clearance.
Technical Skills: Candidates must have experience with a Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) tool, a working knowledge of network security controls (routers, switches, firewalls), and familiarity with Linux and Windows Operating Systems. Knowledge of vulnerabilities, threat detection, and encryption is also required. Work Environment
