Job description

Job Summary:
CPI Card Group is a fast growing high-tech company that understands the pace of technology today. They are seeking a Release Train Engineer to manage and optimize the flow of value through the Agile Release Train and Solution Train, facilitating various planning and execution activities while coaching teams in Lean-Agile practices.
Responsibilities:
• Manages and optimizes the flow of value through the ART and Solution Train using various tools, such as the Program and Solution Kanban and other information radiators.
• Facilitates Program Increment (PI) planning readiness by fostering the preparation of vision and backlogs, and through pre- and post-PI Planning meetings.
• Facilitates the PI planning event.
• Assists tracking the execution of features and capabilities.
• Assists with economic decision-making by facilitating feature and capability estimation by teams and the roll-up to Epics, where necessary.
• Coach leaders, teams, and Scrum Masters in Lean-Agile practices and mindsets.
• Helps manage risks and dependencies.
• Escalates and track impediments.
• Improves the flow of value through value streams using the Continuous Delivery Pipeline and DevOps.
• Facilitates system demos and solution demos.
• Drives relentless improvement via Inspect and Adapt workshops; assesses the agility level of the ART and Solution Train and helps them improve.
Qualifications:
Required:
• Minimum 8 years of experience
• Experience using Agile methodologies, particularly Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe)
• Minimum of 4 years experience utilizing Jira to track work for the ART.
• Previously served as a Release Train Engineer on a program of similar scope with 50+ FTE
• Current SAFe Release Train Engineer (RTE) Certification
• Must have a current, active Top Secret security clearance with the capability to obtain Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI)
Preferred:
• Bachelor’s Degree in an IT or related field is preferred
• Current SAFe Agilist (SA) Certification strongly desired
