Position: Lead Software Engineer (Python, .NET, Azure, Microservices)
Location: Hybrid, 3x per week onsite (Toronto, ON)
Structure: Full-Time

We have a great new opportunity to support one of our Technology / HVAC Solutions clients in a full-time capacity!

Requirements:

810+ years of experience in Software Engineering, with 23+ years in a Technical Lead / Lead Engineer capacity

Strong hands-on experience building scalable distributed systems, microservices, APIs, and event-driven applications

Strong backend development experience with Python and/or C#/.NET

Experience with modern frontend frameworks such as React and Angular

Experience working within cloud-native environments using Azure, Docker, and Kubernetes

Strong experience with CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and Agile/Scrum delivery environments

Experience with SQL / NoSQL databases and messaging systems such as Kafka or Service Bus

Strong understanding of software engineering best practices including testing, code quality, secure development, and version control

Experience conducting code reviews, mentoring developers, and leading technical delivery without direct authority

Experience collaborating closely with Architecture, DevOps, and Product teams

Exposure to AI/ML integrations, Generative AI services, or intelligent workflow platforms is considered a strong asset

Strong communication, stakeholder management, and collaboration skills

Nice-to-have:
