Summary

The IT Developer is a key player in our digital ecosystem, ensuring our core platforms, specifically Infor CSD and Salesforce work in harmony with our MS Fabric environment. In this role, you will be maintaining systems and solving business challenges by developing integrations, automating workflows, and ensuring data flows where its needed most, providing value to Graybar Canada

Job Duties

  • Bridge the gap by analyzing business challenges and developing support solutions that span across our technology stack.

  • Work directly with business stakeholders to understand their challenges and translate them into efficient technical solutions.

  • Elicit, clarify, and document business requirements, ensuring alignment between stakeholders needs and system cabailities. 

  • Collaborate within a high -performing IT team by working closely with experienced professionals in a knowledge-sharing environment. Contribute insights and perspectives to technical discussions and architectural decision making. 

  • Operate with agility by adjusting effectively to shifting priorities and requirements. Deliver value through iterative solutions, ranging from rapid automation enhancements to complex system integrations. 

  • Drive innovation an continuous improvement by supporting the evolution of a modern data environment and identifying opportunities for improvement and contributing to innovative, forward-thinking solutions. 

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or college diploma in Business, Computer Science, or a related field. 

  • Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in design and development 

  • Experience or exposure to business analysis, including requirements gathering or translating business needs into practical solutions. 

  • Ability to communicate effectively with Senior Management, SMEs, and other stakeholders at all levels. 

  • Comfortable switching between different platforms like ERP and Salesforce and have experience with APIs, middleware, and web services. 

  • Ability to thrive in an environment that moves quickly and values iterative progress over rigid, months-long specs.

  • Creative, innovative mindset, and ability to understand the importance of on delivering working solutions 

  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. 

  • Salesforce knowledge is an asset. 

  • Results-oriented, independent self-starter with a sense of urgency and ability to work in a fast-paced environment. 

  • Demonstrated curiosity and willingness to embrace new technologies and navigate complex legacy systems, approaching challenges as opportunities for problem-solving and growth 

  • Ability to design scalable, user-friendly, and maintain solutions, with an emphasis on clarity, usability, and long-term sustainability. 

  • Exceptional written and oral communication skills. 

  • French language is considered an asset
