In the grooming department, you will be part of the team operating snow cats at night safely and efficiently. We strive for a top quality and safe snow surface that exceeds our guests' expectations.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Safe operation of a Pisten Bully 400 snowcat including:
- Daily checkout and inspection of machines.
- Correct start-up and shutdown procedures.
- Tiller and Blade operation.
- Efficient operating practices.
- Learn the necessary skills to maintain ski runs around the mountain:
- Be familiar with Brundage Mtn. trail system.
- Grooming theory and techniques.
- Understand changing snow and weather conditions.
- Fill out daily grooming log.
- Job Qualifications:
- Highschool diploma or equivalent.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Previous grooming experience preferred.
- Heavy Equipment operating experience required.
- Strong mechanical knowledge of equipment.
Other Requirements:
- Valid driver's license
- Must be available and willing to work night shifts. We work all holidays and weekends, 40 hours per week.
Other Requirements:
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to drive and pass insurance driving history inquiry
