The Grand Hyatt Deer Valley Hotel is in the famed Deer Valley ski resort and approximately 40 minutes from the Salt Lake City International Airport. The Grand Hyatt Deer Valley Hotel is part of a new development, planned to incorporate 17 ski lifts, ยฑ1,600 residential units, 8 hotels with a total of ยฑ1,350 rooms, ยฑ250,000 square feet of conference and retail space, and one of the largest "ski beaches" in the world.
The Grand Hyatt is comprised of 436 luxury accommodations including 381 guest rooms and 55 residential units with approximately 30,000 square feet of versatile indoor meeting space, lobby level 3-meal restaurant and bar, signature bar, pool/aprรจs ski bar and grill, coffee bistro, large outdoor event terrace, pool and 3 whirlpools, kids club, and fitness area.

Role Summary:
The Seasonal Concierge serves as a key guest-facing representative of Grand Hyatt Deer Valley, delivering elevated, personalized service throughout our peak winter season. This role requires deep knowledge of Park City, Deer Valley Resort, local attractions, and winter activities, including first-hand familiarity with skiing as a sport. The Concierge will support families, high-touch stays, and heavy request volume with professionalism, warmth, and efficiency.
This position is essential in maintaining exceptional guest satisfaction during our busiest months, ensuring every stay feels seamless, informed, and thoughtfully cared for.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Personalized Guest Service - Arrange dining, transportation, ski rentals, lift tickets, childcare, and activity reservations with accuracy and care.
  • Expert Local Knowledge - Provide informed recommendations on Park City attractions, Deer Valley Resort, winter activities, seasonal events, and hidden local gems.
  • Ski Expertise - Confidently explain ski terrain, ability levels, lesson programs, gear needs, and resort navigation; connect authentically with guests about skiing culture and experience.
  • Winter Seasonal Offerings - Guide guests toward winter-specific attractions such as snowshoeing, tubing, sleigh rides, Nordic skiing, ice skating, and holiday programming.
  • High-Volume Request Management - Navigate extremely busy environments with composure, prioritizing requests and maintaining elevated service standards.
  • Family & VIP Support - Provide thoughtful care for families, special-occasion stays, and guests requiring additional attention or customization.
  • On-Property Experience Support - Assist with resort activations, seasonal programming, and guest experiences as needed.
  • Vendor & Partner Relations - Maintain strong relationships with local partners to enhance guest offerings and secure preferred access.
  • Professional Communication - Deliver timely, polished responses to guest inquiries across all communication channels.
  • Operational Collaboration - Work closely with Front Office, Recreation, and VIP teams to ensure seamless guest flow and coverage.
