Exciting contract opportunities await dedicated Speech-Language Pathologists ready to make a difference in school settings near Gary, IN! Two dynamic positions are available for the upcoming school year, serving students from preschool through middle school. Both roles offer flexible schedules (7 hours daily with a 30-minute unpaid lunch) and a collaborative team atmosphere.
What you’ll bring:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid state license and Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred
- School-based SLP experience preferred
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organization skills
- Ability to manage diverse caseloads and work across multiple school sites as needed
- Commitment to supporting student growth and success
- SLPA supervision may be required, based on site needs (no SLPA placements at this time)
Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct and consultative speech-language services for students ages preschool through middle school
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations, develop and implement IEP goals, and maintain up-to-date records
- Collaborate with general/special educators, families, and related service staff
- Participate actively in school IEP meetings and multidisciplinary teams
- Provide support to classroom staff and help design communication-rich learning environments
- Travel between schools is required for certain caseloads (sites located within a short 10-minute drive)
