Position: Home Health Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
Location: Seaside, OR and Surrounding Areas
We are seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for a home health position in Seaside, OR and its surrounding areas. This role involves providing skilled therapy to patients in their homes, helping them to improve their communication and swallowing abilities.
Job Details
  • Shift: Day 4x8-Hour (08:00 AM - 04:30 PM)
  • Start Date: ASAP
  • Patient Ratios: 1:1 (may visit up to 6 patients per day; 30 productivity points standard)
  • Experience Required: Minimum of 1 year of skilled home health experience
  • Certifications Required: BCLS
  • On-Call Requirements: No
Special Requirements
  • Must possess a valid Oregon speech-language pathologist license
  • Traveler must have their own transportation
  • COVID-19 primary series vaccination and one booster required
  • Experience with OASIS is mandatory
Work Environment
This position is for a home health facility, where you will provide therapy in patients' homes. The facility prioritizes scheduling efficiency by grouping clients to minimize drive time, although you may occasionally travel up to 60 miles per day (60-90 minutes total drive time).
Professional Attire
  • Business casual attire is appropriate; no jeans.
  • Scrubs are allowed but not required, with no specific color mandated.
Charting Systems
The facility utilizes the following for documentation:
  • EPIC Remote Client for Home Health (on laptop)
  • Rover (phone app)
  • OASIS

Working Hours and Holidays
There are no weekend requirements, however, travelers must commit to working 3 out of 5 holidays, including Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, and New Year's Day.
References
Two references covering at least one year of professional experience, obtained within the last three years, are required during the compliance process prior to the start date. Candidates with past experience in home health or as SLPs are encouraged to apply.
