What you will experience in this position:

  • Represent the Quality functionand act as a primary liaison with customers, building strong relationships and confidence in our processes.

  • Facilitatecustomer engagement at multiple levels, partnering proactively to address concerns and align on quality expectations.

  • Collaborate closely withcrossfunctional teamsacross manufacturing, engineering, operations, and suppliers - both inside and outside the organization.

  • Support production teams to ensurehighquality, compliant productsare delivered consistently and in accordance with established processes.

  • Lead and participate in Material Review Board (MRB) activities, driving timely disposition and corrective actions

  • Manage internal nonconformance reports (NCRs)and external quality issues, including customer complaints, from identification through resolution.

  • Evaluatesuspect or nonconforming materials, working with diverse teams to quickly diagnose issues and implement effective corrective actions.

  • Lead quality problemsolving efforts usingSix Sigma (DMAIC) methodologies, including containment, root cause analysis, and sustainable corrective actions.

  • SupportAdvanced Product Quality Planning (APQP)activities for new product launches, including PFMEAs, Control Plans, GR&R, Capability Studies, and First Article Inspections (FAI).

YOU HAVE:

  • A Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or a related STEM field.

  • 2+years of experience with Manufacturing or Quality processes.

  • Quality Certifications such as CQE, CMQ, CQA, and ISO 9001:2015 Internal Auditor training are strongly preferred.

  • Experience in process improvement, planning, Six Sigma, Lean training, and quality systems.

  • Experience withoptical, multisensor, and scanning inspectionequipment(preferred)

  • Experiencesupporting quality initiatives across multiple manufacturingsites(preferred)

Pay Transparency
nVent's pay scale is based on the expected range of base pay for this job and the employee's work location. Employee pay within this range will be based on a combination of factors including knowledge, skills, abilities, experience, education, and performance. Where federal, state, or local minimum wage requirements exist, employee pay will comply.
Compensation Range:

$62,900.00 - $116,900.00

Depending on the position offered, employee may be eligible for other forms of compensation, such as annual incentives.
