Horsham Center for Jewish Life
Horsham Center for Jewish Life is a 324-bed long-term care community committed to providing a safe, secure, and welcoming environment for our residents, families, visitors, and staff.
We are looking for a reliable, professional, and attentive Weekend Security Guard to join our team. In this role, you will help maintain the safety and security of our community by monitoring the facility, conducting security rounds, assisting visitors, responding to concerns, and supporting our staff and residents.
The ideal candidate is dependable, observant, calm under pressure, and able to interact professionally with residents, families, visitors, and team members.
Schedule
Weekend Shift: 12:00 PM - 12:00 AM
Weekend availability required
Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor entrances, exits, common areas, and facility grounds.
  • Conduct regular security rounds and identify and report safety or security concerns.
  • Assist with visitor check-in and ensure established access procedures are followed.
  • Respond appropriately to emergencies, safety concerns, and security-related situations.
  • Provide professional and courteous assistance to residents, visitors, and staff.
  • Maintain accurate security logs, reports, and required documentation.
  • Follow all facility safety, security, and emergency procedures.
  • Communicate and work effectively with facility leadership and other departments.
  • Help maintain a secure and welcoming environment throughout the community.

Qualifications
  • Previous experience in security, healthcare, hospitality, customer service, or a related field preferred.
  • Strong observation and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Dependable, professional, and comfortable working independently.
  • Ability to remain calm, alert, and effective during emergency situations.
  • Previous experience in healthcare or senior living is a plus.
  • Security certification or license preferred, when required by applicable regulations.
