Job description

OPS Security Group is seeking a reliable, professional Armed Security Officer in Charge to support our weekend security operations in Central Pennsylvania.

In this role, you will work alongside other officers, help guide the team during your shift, and ensure the safety of people and property at the site. If you have an ACT 235 license and security experience, we would love to speak with you.

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys leadership, problem-solving, and working in a professional security environment.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Maintain a visible security presence at the site

  • Monitor entrances and check IDs when required

  • Conduct walking patrols of the facility

  • Monitor CCTV systems

  • Respond to incidents and security concerns

  • Write basic incident and activity reports

  • Provide professional and respectful customer service

  • Assist with maintaining safety procedures and site policies

Requirements
  • Active Pennsylvania ACT 235 certification

  • 21 years of age or older

  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

  • High school diploma or GED

  • Previous armed security, military, or law enforcement experience preferred

  • Strong communication and conflict de-escalation skills
