Shift: Primarily focused on 2nd Shifts (3p-11p) and 3rd Shifts (11p-7a) shifts.

Marksman Security is seeking a dependable, alert, and service-driven Patrol Officer to protect one of our newest client sites. This role calls for professionalism, sound judgment, and a genuine commitment to keeping people and property safe.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deter criminal activity and misconduct
  • Respond to alarms, calls of distress, or emergencies such as fire, injuries, or the presence of unauthorized persons by contacting police, fire departments, and/or local emergency response teams
  • Make periodic patrols to check for unsafe conditions, hazards, unlocked doors, security violations, blocked entrances and exits, mechanical problems, and unauthorized persons
  • Prepare clear, concise, and accurate reports
  • Operate access control systems, utilize a computer for incident reports, navigate security software systems or applications, and use email
  • Demonstrate strong customer service skills, a professional demeanor, and appearance
  • Manage multiple tasks, execute radio and telephone communications, and perform in a high-pressure environment
  • Perform other duties as determined by the security supervisor

Qualifications

Applicants must meet one or any reasonable combination of the following:

  • Two years of customer service experience AND one year of verifiable security experience

Requirements

  • Valid GA Security License
  • Valid GA Driver's License
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug test
  • Technology skills: operate access control systems, utilize a computer for incident reports, operate security software systems or applications, use email
  • Strong customer service skills, professional demeanor, and appearance
  • Experience managing multiple tasks, executing radio and telephone communications, and performing in a medium to high pressure environment with frequently changing and/or competing demands
  • Familiarity with report writing
  • Excellent surveillance and observation skills
  • Above-average written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a demonstrated ability to interact effectively with client staff and the public
  • Trained in CPR and First Aid preferred
