Job description

Security Officer 1 Part Time

We are seeking to fill a Part Time Day Shift Security Officer position.

Availability needed: 6:00am-2:30pm (including weekends)

Security Officers are responsible for performing access control, routine patrols, emergency/incident response and ensuring completion of administrative requirements as assigned by the Security Office. Monitoring all access/exit points for anomalies and conducting access control; patrolling perimeter, exterior and interior of the property to ensure the safety of personnel and protection of property; enforcing Club policies; engaging in security training; completing written reports; documenting daily activities; abiding by standard operating procedures; and responding to security incidents.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED Equivalent

  • Minimum one (1) year security work experience in a professional setting.

  • Guard card required.

  • Experience performing technical procedures and completing reports.

  • Comfortable working under pressure.

  • Being dedicated to quality service.

  • Familiarity with Security policies and procedures.

  • Ability to assess and quickly react to emergency situations while maintaining composure and professionalism.

  • Ability to follow detailed, step by step, procedures.

  • Understand operational priorities, take initiative, and exercise sound independent judgment.

  • Capable of working independently without extensive direction or oversight.

  • Use technology to process information, improve security and communications.

  • Strong multi-tasking skills.

  • Detail-oriented focus.

  • Preferred certifications: baton, mace, handcuffing, CPR/First Aid/AED preferred.
