Job description

Preparation:ย The preferred candidate will have two years' experience as a security officer, school ย  ย ย  security, campus supervisor, or law enforcement officer. Excellent customer service ย skills along with the ability to multi-task; Proficiency using technology; Strong oral ย  communication skills along with the ability to handle confidential matters.

Primary Function:ย ย Provide for a safe and secure school environment, foster an optimal learning environment and act as a deterrent to unsafe or poor behavior by monitoring the 6th street entrance and ancillary building using the District's security camera system and controlled access system. The successful candidate will be expected to supervise evening and weekend extracurricular events. Workday will be Monday-Friday from 7:15 am to 3:45 pm.
