Job description

Security Officer - Healthcare

Unarmed Security Officer

Location: Marietta, OH

Available Schedules:

  • Monday-Thursday | 4:00 PM - 12:00 AM | 32 hours per week
  • Monday-Friday | 4:00 PM - 12:00 AM | 40 hours per week

Pay: $14.86 per hour

Position Overview

We are seeking a dependable and professional Unarmed Security Officer to join our team at a healthcare facility in Marietta, OH. This position is responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for patients, visitors, and staff through routine patrols, monitoring activities, and responding to security-related incidents.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct routine patrols of the facility and surrounding property.
  • Monitor security cameras, alarms, and access points.
  • Observe and report suspicious activity, safety concerns, and security incidents.
  • Respond appropriately to emergencies and security-related situations.
  • Complete daily activity logs and incident reports.
  • Enforce facility policies and procedures.
  • Provide excellent customer service while interacting with patients, visitors, and staff.
  • Assist with access control and visitor management as required.
Requirements
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain an Ohio Guard Card.
  • Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug screening.
  • Physical exam clearance required.
  • Strong communication and observation skills.
  • Ability to remain professional and composed in stressful situations.
  • Reliable attendance and punctuality.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous security, healthcare security, military, or law enforcement experience preferred but not required.
  • Experience working with radios, CCTV systems, or alarm monitoring equipment is a plus.

This is an entry-level to experienced Security Officer position focused on safety, security, and customer service.
