Medical Technologist (Clinical Laboratory Scientist)
White River Junction VA Medical Center, White River Junction, VT 05009

Start: 11/01/2025
End: 10/22/2026
Openings: 2 FTE
Pay: $70–$83 per hour, based on experience

Schedule
• Day shift 8:00 a.m.–4:30 p.m.
• Rotating weekends required
• Weekend day shift 7:00 a.m.–3:30 p.m. (may adjust slightly)
• Weekend evening shift 2:30 p.m.–11:00 p.m. (may adjust slightly)
• One weekday off before and after weekends
• Holidays and overtime possible
• No on call or standby

Requirements
• Resume
• ASCP or AMT certification (MT, MLS, or CLS)
• Minimum 3 years of experience
• Bachelor’s degree in medical laboratory science, clinical laboratory science, or related field

Responsibilities
• Chemistry, urinalysis, blood bank, hematology, coagulation, microbiology
• Routine QC and instrument maintenance
• Patient and QC testing per CAP standards
• Identify, document, and resolve processing and reporting issues
